Horizontal Stair Railing — Double Post Steel Guardrail

Modern Horizontal Stair Railing – Clean Design, Strong Support & Easy Installation

Upgrade your space with our modern horizontal stair railing, built to deliver both structural strength and contemporary style. A sleek 2" x 1" top rail with posts at both ends makes this metal guardrail system a secure, visually clean solution for stairs, decks, patios and balconies.

This pre-assembled railing system arrives ready to install, which removes the fiddly setup and saves time for homeowners and contractors alike.

✔ Key Features & Benefits

• Durable heavy-duty steel construction
• Modern horizontal railing design
• Strong double-post (both ends) support system
• Pre-assembled — no setup required
• Easy DIY installation (30 minutes)
• Customizable length & height options (36" / 42")
• Factory-spaced to meet the 4-inch sphere rule
• Ideal for stairs, decks, patios, porches & balconies
• Includes all mounting hardware

Designed for Strength & Simplicity

The double post design adds stability, which matters most on extended sections where a single post would allow flex. Clean horizontal lines give a modern architectural look without sacrificing safety compliance.

Note that some jurisdictions restrict horizontal elements in guardrails because children can climb them. Check locally before ordering — our building code guide covers the requirements.

Custom Sizing Made Easy

• Select your required length range
• Enter your exact measurement in the custom box
• Choose the appropriate mounting hardware

👉 Example: for a 40" opening, order a 40" railing.

Expandable Railing System

Need more than a single section? We build full systems:

• Railings longer than 4 ft
• L-shaped & U-shaped railing systems
• Angled stair railing (sloped installation)
• Custom interconnecting designs

We design every railing to fit your space before we build it.
