Indoor vs Outdoor Use — Read This First

This handrail is Type 304 stainless steel, which suits:

• ✔ Indoor applications
• ✔ Covered outdoor areas

Not recommended for coastal or high-moisture environments. 304 will eventually pit and stain in salt air.

For exposed coastal or poolside locations, choose our 316 marine-grade handrail instead. The molybdenum content is what gives 316 genuine salt resistance, and it is rated for 20+ years outdoors.
